PUDU D7 Industrial semi-humanoid robot

An industrial semi-humanoid robot with a dual-arm system, designed for manufacturing and industrial environments. PUDU's launch announcement says it carries up to 14 kg and works at heights up to 2 m.

Where it works

  1. Warehouse material handling, shelf picking, inventory replenishment and intralogistics transportation.
  2. High-rack storage systems, reaching heights of up to 2 m.
  3. Pushing carts and moving materials across a facility.
  4. Dispensing, assembly and fine manipulation, using tactile sensors to adjust applied force.

Day to day

PUDU says the D7 swaps its own batteries without human intervention, so it can run around the clock. It has dual front and rear LiDAR plus a perception system for avoiding obstacles in busy factory settings, and PUDU says it can be deployed with minimal changes to existing facilities. The robot runs on PuduFM 1.0, PUDU's embodied intelligence foundation model. PUDU has not published a run time, battery capacity, weight or dimensions.
